"Rebels and Revolutionaries," is a series of staged self-portraits that reflect upon the under-representation of female change-makers in the American cultural landscape. Drawing imagery from historical propaganda posters and contemporary photojournalism, I create images to honor and uplift dissenting female voices of the past and present and to challenge my own position in these politically charged times.
